Becoming an Artytime Venue
An Artytime event takes about 2 hours. A popular starting time is around 7pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends. (totally flexible according to venue) We need 1 hour before and after the event for set up and clean up. You can expect 2 drinks per person x 25 to 40 people as your revenue for the evening (if you serve food, that would be additional revenue). An Artytime event often times brings new typically female based cliental to your establishment.
What we need for the event
Dining space and chairs to seat 25 to 40 party goers. The tables should be cleared as we will cover tables with plastic table clothes to protect them. Pitchers for water to fill cups that we provide for paintbrushes. Providing a cocktail waitress will bring in more revenue as painters can get involved with their paintings and will be more apt to have another cocktail if a waitress is proactively attentive. The beginning of the event is a rush as the painters are settling in and starting with a cocktail before painting. about 30 minutes into the event is another opportunity for a rush as we take a break for drying time. We provide our own tunes in between instruction, therefore, if there is a separate room, it might be beneficial. Bright lighting is necessary, no need for mood lighting on these evenings.
We request an UN-CARPETED room if possible.
